Punishment is a gripping crime thriller and legal drama that delves into the dark underbelly of the judicial system and the personal vendettas of those who operate within it. The series follows an elite, unorthodox task force composed of a disgraced former prosecutor, a brilliant forensic psychologist, and a cynical veteran detective. Together, they target high-profile criminals who have repeatedly slipped through the cracks of the traditional legal framework, delivering their own calculated brand of retribution. As the team executes their covert operations, they find themselves caught in a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game with a shadowy syndicate that pulls the strings of the city's political and legal institutions. Major conflicts arise not only from the dangerous targets they pursue, but also from internal moral dilemmas, as the lines between law enforcement and vigilantism begin to blur. Each episode unravels layers of deep-seated corruption, forcing the main characters to confront their own traumatic pasts and the heavy cost of seeking absolute justice.
