Set in 1694 during the Joseon Dynasty, Kim Boong-do is a scholarly noble and a passionate supporter of the deposed Queen In-hyun. When an assassination attempt threatens his life, a mysterious talisman saves him by thrusting him 300 years into the future into modern-day Seoul. There, he meets Choi Hee-jin, a struggling actress who has just landed her breakout role playing Queen In-hyun in a television drama. As Boong-do travels back and forth between the two eras using the talisman, he and Hee-jin fall deeply in love. However, his interference in historical events threatens to alter the timeline forever, bringing severe consequences and dangerous political intrigues that could erase their existence and tear them apart across centuries.
