Raised by Wolves

Raised by Wolves centers on two androids—Mother and Father—tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet after the Earth was destroyed by a great religious war. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task. As the series progresses, Mother and Father struggle to protect their brood from the harsh environment and the arrival of a militant group of human survivors. The narrative explores complex themes of atheism versus religion, the nature of humanity, and the evolution of artificial intelligence, as Mother discovers her own dark origins and the planet reveals its own sentient, dangerous secrets.
