Red Riding is a dark British television trilogy of neo-noir crime thriller films adapted from David Peace's 'Red Riding Quartet' novels. Set across the years 1974, 1980, and 1983 in Yorkshire, England, the narrative follows a grim landscape plagued by institutional corruption, organized crime, and the haunting shadow of the Yorkshire Ripper murders. Young, ambitious journalist Eddie Dunford attempts to uncover a horrifying web of missing children, police brutality, and political cover-ups, only to realize that the rot extends all the way to the top of the judicial and law enforcement systems.
