Reuen Rom Ngiew

Set in the early 20th century, Reuen Rom Ngiew follows the tragic and haunting story of a wealthy household haunted by a dark past. The narrative centers on a young man who enters the mansion as a tutor, only to find himself entangled in the complex, forbidden, and often violent relationships of the family members living under the shadow of a cursed Kapok tree. As secrets are unearthed, the lines between the living and the vengeful spirits of the past begin to blur. The series explores themes of betrayal, karmic retribution, and the suffocating nature of societal expectations. As the protagonist delves deeper into the history of the house, he discovers that the mansion is not just a home, but a prison for those who have been wronged. The drama masterfully blends period romance with supernatural horror, building tension as the characters fight to escape the cycle of hatred that has plagued the estate for generations.
