Rose Fence (Qiang Wei Zhi Lian) is a classic Taiwanese idol drama based on the popular manga series by Yoshimi Katsura. The story follows Zheng Bai He, a kind-hearted but plain-looking girl who has always felt like an outsider. After the sudden death of her mother, she discovers a letter revealing that her biological mother is actually the famous, glamorous novelist Han Li. Bai He travels to Taipei to reunite with her mother, only to find herself thrust into a chaotic household filled with eccentric and beautiful half-siblings. As Bai He attempts to navigate her new life, she becomes entangled in a complex web of romance and family drama. She finds herself drawn to her step-brother, Han Jin, while dealing with the complicated personalities of her other siblings, Han Kui and Han Fu. The series explores themes of self-discovery, the true meaning of family, and the painful process of blooming into one's own person despite the 'thorns' of past trauma and societal expectations.
