Rutherford Falls is a comedy series that centers on Nathan Rutherford, a small-town resident and descendant of the town's founder, who finds himself in a bitter conflict when the local indigenous casino tries to relocate a historical statue of his ancestor. Alongside his lifelong best friend, Reagan Wells, a member of the fictional Minishonka Nation working to build her people's cultural heritage center, Nathan navigates changing times, cultural identity, and town politics. Created by Ed Helms, Michael Schur, and Sierra Teller Ornelas, the series features a groundbreaking Native American writers' room and explores modern indigenous life in America with a blend of humor and heart. As the town's secrets and historical myths unravel, both Nathan and Reagan are forced to confront their pasts and redefine what their community means for the future.
