Sakho & Mangane

Set in the bustling and vibrant city of Dakar, Senegal, *Sakho & Mangane* follows two mismatched police detectives who are forced to work together within a specialized division tackling unusual and complex crimes. Chief Inspector Souleymane Sakho is a rigid, by-the-book veteran who relies heavily on modern forensic science and traditional police procedure, while Inspector Alpha Mangane is a reckless, intuitive young hothead who firmly believes in local folklore, mysticism, and spiritual explanations. As they navigate a series of bizarre and chilling murders that defy rational logic, Sakho and Mangane must constantly bridge the gap between their opposing worldviews. The series brilliantly weaves together contemporary urban African life, institutional corruption, ancient traditions, and supernatural undertones, creating a gripping police procedural unlike any other in international television.
