SAS: Who Dares Wins is a British reality military-style television series that puts civilian contestants through a reenactment of the United Kingdom's Special Air Service (SAS) selection process. Led by an elite team of former special forces operators, recruits are stripped of their identities, subjected to grueling physical and psychological tests, and pushed to their absolute limits in extreme environments around the globe. The core conflict of the series is purely internal and psychological, as ordinary men and women from all walks of life confront their deepest fears, past traumas, and self-doubt. The Directing Staff (DS), led by hardened veterans, closely observe every candidate, weeding out those lacking the resilience, mental fortitude, and teamwork required to pass selection, until only the most determined remain.
