Second to Last Love

Kang Min-joo is a successful, high-achieving television producer who has always lived life at full speed, constantly worrying about her future and growing old alone. In an attempt to escape the burnout of city life and find peace, she impulsively decides to move to the scenic coastal city of Woori-gun. There, she crosses paths with Go Sang-shik, an earnest and cautious environmental facility section chief at the local city hall who has dedicated his life to raising his family and maintaining safety. Their initial encounters are marked by endless misunderstandings and clashes due to their completely opposite outlooks on life—Min-joo embraces spontaneity and ambition, while Sang-shik values stability, tradition, and strict adherence to rules. However, as they are continuously thrown together by community events and shared personal struggles, their initial animosity gradually thaws. The series explores the complexities of mid-life romance, family dynamics, and learning to let go of past heartbreaks to embrace a second chance at happiness.
