Señora Acero

Señora Acero is a Spanish-language telenovela and action drama created by Roberto Stopello. The series follows the tumultuous life of Sara Aguilar Bermúdez, a humble and naive woman whose world shatters when her husband, a corrupt commander, is assassinated on their wedding day. Thrust into the ruthless world of drug trafficking and money laundering, Sara must transform from a vulnerable housewife into a fiercely protective and powerful cartel leader known as 'Señora Acero' to protect her son and avenge her family. Over the course of its multiple seasons, the saga spans across decades, capturing betrayals, political corruption, DEA operations, and bitter cartel wars. Following major shifts in the storyline, the narrative later centers on Vicenta Acero, 'La Coyote,' a fearless migrant smuggler who inherits the legendary Acero surname and continues the battle against injustice, corrupt authorities, and rival capos along the US-Mexico border.
