Picking up after the intense events of the first season, veteran detective Kim Taek-rok returns to the Geumo Police Station after a brief hiatus. Reassigned to the Juvenile Division, he soon discovers that the mysterious 'Friend' who blackmailed him has not disappeared, but has instead shifted their focus to a much larger, more dangerous conspiracy involving the police force and local political figures. As Taek-rok digs deeper into the web of corruption, he finds himself isolated and unable to trust his colleagues. With the stakes higher than ever, he must navigate a labyrinth of lies and hidden agendas to uncover the identity of the mastermind behind the chaos, all while fighting to protect those he cares about from becoming collateral damage in a game of power and vengeance.
