Silversun is an Australian science fiction television series that follows the journey of the starship 'Star Runner' as it travels toward a new home in the Alpha Centauri system. The crew consists of a group of teenagers who are the children of the original mission scientists, left to manage the ship after their parents are placed in cryosleep. As they navigate the vastness of space, they must contend with technical malfunctions, internal power struggles, and the psychological toll of being isolated from Earth. As the series progresses, the teenagers discover that the mission is not what it seems. They encounter mysterious phenomena and face threats that challenge their understanding of their mission's purpose. The show focuses on themes of leadership, survival, and the transition from adolescence to adulthood under extreme pressure, all while trying to keep the ship operational and their mission on course.
