Single Dad in Love

Kang Poong-ho is a dedicated single father raising his seven-year-old son, Kang San, completely on his own. Abandoned years earlier by his first love Yoon So-yi, who left to study piano abroad, Poong-ho takes on grueling jobs to make ends meet, working as an exterminator by day and taking punishing blows as a mixed martial arts fighter by night. Despite the hardships, his boundless love for his son keeps a bright smile on his face. Their world changes when Jeon Ha-ri, a warm-hearted medical student, crosses paths with the father-son duo. Charmed by Poong-ho's genuine heart and San's sweet demeanor, Ha-ri falls deeply in love with him, bringing a refreshing warmth back into their lives. However, their newfound happiness is thrown into turmoil when So-yi reappears in South Korea as an accomplished pianist—now engaged to Ha-ri's wealthy father. As entangled pasts and unresolved heartaches resurface, Poong-ho and Ha-ri must confront deep-rooted family secrets, painful sacrifices, and unexpected medical hardships. The series weaves a poignant tale of unconditional paternal love, redemption, and the resilience of human bonds.
