Sjukt is a poignant Swedish drama-comedy series that follows the life of a young woman named Alice as she tries to navigate her twenties while dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Striking a delicate balance between heart-wrenching emotional depth and dark, situational humor, the series explores how a life-altering illness reshapes relationships, career aspirations, and self-identity. As Alice undergoes rigorous treatments, she is forced to confront the stark realities of mortality alongside the mundane absurdities of everyday life. Alongside an ensemble of eccentric family members, cynical hospital staff, and loyal friends, she attempts to find normalcy and agency in a world that suddenly feels entirely out of her control.
