Someday Or One Day

Set in 1998 and 2019, the story follows Huang Yu-shihen, a woman who is still grieving the death of her boyfriend, Wang Quan-sheng, two years prior. Desperate to feel connected to him again, she anonymously sends a cassette tape of Last Dance by Wu Bai, which unexpectedly transports her consciousness back to 1998 into the body of a high school girl named Chen Yun-ru, who bears an uncanny resemblance to her. In the past, Yu-shi in the body of Yun-ru meets Li Zi-wei and Mo Jun-jie, two close friends whose lives intertwine with hers in ways that defy time. As she navigates the complexities of teenage life and a developing romance with Zi-wei—who eerily reminds her of Quan-sheng—she realizes that her time-travel is part of a complex, tragic loop. Together, they must solve a chilling murder mystery to prevent history from repeating itself and to save the people they love across different timelines.
