Sorry, I Love You

Cha Moo-hyuk is a bitter and hardened street gangster in Australia who was adopted from South Korea as a child and abandoned a second time by his adoptive family. Shot in the head during an assassination attempt on his ex-girlfriend, doctors give him only months to live, leaving him with a bullet lodged near his brain. Armed with a death sentence, he returns to South Korea to find his biological mother, only to discover she lives a life of immense wealth and luxury as a famous actress, seemingly doting on her pampered top-star son while ignoring her past. Consumed by a desire for revenge, Moo-hyuk approaches his mother's household, where he meets Song Eun-chae, a loyal fashion coordinator and childhood friend of his half-brother. Initially clashing violently, Moo-hyuk and Eun-chae develop a profound and tragic bond as she slowly uncovers the layers of his trauma and terminal condition. As the dark truths of his adoption and abandonment unravel, Moo-hyuk finds himself torn between his quest for vengeance and a deep, all-consuming romance that defies time and mortality.
