Space Patrol Luluco follows the life of Luluco, a middle school girl living in the space colonization zone of Ogikubo. Her mundane life is turned upside down when her father, a detective for the Space Patrol, accidentally consumes a frozen pill and becomes encased in ice. To save him, Luluco is forced to take his place as a member of the Space Patrol under the supervision of the mysterious Over Justice. As she balances her duties as a space officer with her desire for a normal school life, she finds herself falling in love with a transfer student named Alpha Omega Nova. The series is a high-energy, meta-fictional celebration of Studio Trigger's history, featuring rapid-fire animation, surreal humor, and numerous references to the studio's previous works, all while exploring the chaotic intersection of teenage romance and intergalactic law enforcement.
