Squadra antimafia

Set primarily in Palermo, Sicily, "Squadra antimafia" follows the intense and perilous operations of the Duomo analytical anti-crime squad (later evolving into the Antimafia Squad). Led by dedicated and fearless deputy police commissioners such as Claudia Mares and later Calcaterra, the team battles ruthless Sicilian Mafia families, secret societies, and powerful corrupt entities. The series explores complex webs of organized crime, betrayal, and loyalty. Over its extensive run, the show chronicles the shifting tides of power within the underworld—from traditional clans like the Abate family to dangerous international cartels and covert intelligence networks. Personal stakes run high as law enforcement officers navigate moral gray areas, undercover operations, and devastating personal losses while trying to dismantle the most dangerous criminal syndicates in Italy.
