Based on the bestselling crime novels written by J.K. Rowling under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, 'Strike' follows Cormoran Strike, a war veteran wounded both physically and psychologically who works as a private detective operating out of a small office in Denmark Street, London. Despite his troubled past and mounting financial troubles, Strike's unique insight and sheer tenacity prove crucial in solving complex, brutal crimes that baffle the police. He is soon joined by Robin Ellacott, initially a temporary secretary whose sharp intellect, organizational prowess, and hidden investigative talents quickly elevate her to an indispensable business partner. Across multiple interwoven cases adapted from the novels—ranging from the apparent suicide of a troubled supermodel to gruesome blackmail, missing persons, and historical cold cases—Strike and Robin navigate the dangerous underworld of London while managing their increasingly complicated professional and personal relationship.
