Summer Nude

Set against the sun-drenched backdrop of a beachside town, 'Summer Nude' follows Asahi Mikuriya, a young man working at a seaside house who is still nursing a broken heart from a past relationship that ended abruptly when his fiancée disappeared. His life takes a turn when he crosses paths with Hana Taniyama, a strong-willed woman who has just been dumped on her wedding day. Around them, a web of complex relationships unfolds, involving Asahi's longtime best friend and colleague Chiyo, as well as Takashi, a talented photographer with his own emotional baggage. As the summer heat brings out raw emotions, these characters navigate the pain of unrequited love, healing, and self-discovery, finding solace in each other under the bright summer sun.
