Tell Me a Story is a psychological thriller anthology series that takes the world's most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as dark, twisted, and gritty modern-day tales. Set in contemporary New York City, the series weaves together disparate characters into a subversive narrative of love, loss, greed, revenge, and murder. Each season focuses on a different set of classic stories, stripping away the whimsy to explore the darker impulses of human nature. The first season intertwines the narratives of 'The Three Little Pigs,' 'Little Red Riding Hood,' and 'Hansel and Gretel,' following a group of troubled individuals whose lives collide in a web of crime and consequence. The second season shifts focus to the gothic tales of 'Beauty and the Beast,' 'Sleeping Beauty,' and 'Cinderella,' exploring themes of trauma and redemption within a fractured family dynamic. The series is known for its intense atmosphere, non-linear storytelling, and exploration of how ancient archetypes manifest in modern urban environments.
