The 5th Quarter

The 5th Quarter is a mockumentary-style comedy series that explores the absurd and often hilarious world of high school sports. Presented as a series of documentary segments, the show captures the lives of student-athletes, coaches, and parents as they navigate the intense pressures, bizarre rituals, and unexpected drama that unfold behind the scenes of a small-town athletic program. Each episode features a collection of short, interconnected sketches that highlight the eccentric personalities within the school's sports culture. From over-the-top coaches with questionable motivational tactics to parents living vicariously through their children's achievements, the series satirizes the hyper-competitive nature of youth sports while maintaining a lighthearted and comedic tone throughout.
