The Advisors Alliance 2: Growling Tiger, Roaring Dragon

Picking up where the first season left off, this historical epic chronicles the later years of Sima Yi, the brilliant strategist who served the Wei dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period. As the political landscape shifts and the power of the Cao family wanes, Sima Yi must navigate the treacherous waters of court intrigue, military campaigns against his arch-rival Zhuge Liang, and the internal struggles of the Wei imperial court. As Sima Yi ages, he faces the daunting task of securing his family's legacy while contending with increasingly paranoid emperors and the weight of his own ambition. The series masterfully depicts the psychological warfare between Sima Yi and Zhuge Liang, culminating in a battle of wits that defines an era. It is a profound exploration of power, loyalty, and the heavy price of survival in a time of constant war.
