The Batman is an animated television series that follows Bruce Wayne during his early years as the caped crusader. Set in his third year of fighting crime, the series depicts a younger, less experienced Batman as he balances his dual life as a billionaire industrialist and a vigilante. Operating from the Batcave with the assistance of Alfred Pennyworth, he faces a rogues' gallery of iconic villains, including the Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, and Riddler, while navigating his complex relationship with the Gotham City Police Department. Unlike previous iterations, this series emphasizes Batman's detective skills and physical prowess, often showcasing his high-tech gadgets and specialized Batsuits. As the series progresses, the scope expands to include other members of the DC Universe, such as Batgirl and Robin, as they join forces to combat the escalating threats that plague Gotham. The show is noted for its distinct character designs and its focus on the psychological toll of Bruce Wayne's mission.
