The Big Leap

The Big Leap is a modern-day dramedy inspired by the British reality series 'Big Ballet.' The story follows a group of diverse, down-on-their-luck underdogs who attempt to change their lives by participating in a high-stakes, potentially life-ruining reality dance show. As they train for a televised production of 'Swan Lake,' the participants must confront their personal demons, insecurities, and past failures while navigating the manipulative machinations of the show's producers. At the center of the chaos is Gabby Lewis, a former dancer who left her dreams behind to raise her son, and Nick Blackburn, the cynical executive producer desperate for a hit. As the production progresses, the lines between reality and performance blur, forcing the cast to decide if the pursuit of fame and redemption is worth the cost of their dignity and relationships.
