The Bionic Woman follows the life of Jaime Sommers, a professional tennis player who suffers a near-fatal skydiving accident. To save her life, she undergoes experimental bionic surgery, receiving a bionic ear, a bionic arm, and bionic legs, which grant her superhuman strength, speed, and hearing. As a result of her transformation, she becomes a secret agent for the Office of Scientific Intelligence (OSI), working under the direction of Oscar Goldman.
