Cinema & TelevisionThe Brink is a dark political satire comedy series that focuses on a geopolitical crisis and its effect on three disparate, desperate American men: Walter Larson, the beleaguered and sex-addicted U.S. Secretary of State; Alex Coppins, a low-level Foreign Service officer stationed in Pakistan; and Zeke 'Z-Pak' Tilson, a drug-addled U.S. Navy fighter pilot. As a rogue general in Pakistan stages a military coup and threatens to unleash the country's nuclear arsenal, these unlikely figures find themselves at the center of the storm. Trying to avert World War III, they must navigate a maze of diplomatic blunders, bureaucratic incompetence, and high-stakes military maneuvers while dealing with their own chaotic personal lives. Created by Roberto Benabib and Kim Benabib, the series blends fast-paced dark comedy with tense geopolitical drama.
