Set between Los Angeles and Taipei, the series follows Charles Sun, a Taipei mob enforcer known as 'Chairleg' who has spent his life being molded by his ruthless triad-boss father to be a cold-blooded killer. When an enigmatic assassin shoots his father, Charles travels to Los Angeles to protect his mother, Mama Sun, and his naive younger brother, Bruce, who has been completely sheltered from the family's criminal legacy. As Taipei's most formidable triad factions and a newly rising enemy clash for dominance, the Sun family must heal the wounds of their past while figuring out what brotherhood and family truly mean before their enemies wipe them out completely.
