Set in London, 'The Capture' is a conspiracy thriller that explores the disturbing world of manipulated video and deepfake technology. The story centers on British soldier Shaun Emery, who is accused of a crime he swears he did not commit after CCTV footage implicates him. As ambitious Detective Inspector Rachel Carey investigates the case, she uncovers a terrifying web of algorithmic manipulation, state-sponsored deception, and compromised evidence that threatens national security and the very fabric of truth. Spanning across multiple seasons, the series delves deeper into the shadowy realm of 'Correction'—an advanced intelligence capability used to alter video feeds in real-time to protect state interests. Carey finds herself caught in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game against unseen forces, battling to expose the truth while realizing that seeing is no longer believing in a world where digital reality can be entirely fabricated.
