Based on the classic ancient Chinese geographical and mythological text 'Classic of Mountains and Seas', the series is set in a mythical era where two rival tribes, the Jiuli and the Dongyi, seek to summon their respective protective beasts—the Azure Dragon and the White Tiger—to fulfill a prophecy of supreme power. Su Mo'er, an ordinary girl of the Jiuli tribe, embarks on a fateful journey and crosses paths with Chi Yu, the exiled prince of the Jiuli, and Xin Yuehu, a mysterious and ambitious prince of Dongyi. As the quest unfolds, Mo'er discovers her true identity as the destined master who must awaken the White Tiger, while Chi Yu is tied to the awakening of the Azure Dragon. Caught in a web of political intrigue, ancient curses, and warring factions, the characters must navigate deep betrayals and tangled romantic loyalties. The conflict escalates as friends turn into enemies, forcing them to choose between their personal desires and the fate of the mortal world.
