The Cursed Melody follows the life of Kang Seo-yoon, a talented but struggling violinist who discovers a mysterious, centuries-old musical score hidden within the archives of a prestigious conservatory. As she begins to practice the haunting composition, she inadvertently triggers a series of supernatural occurrences that plague her peers and threaten the lives of those around her. The music is rumored to be linked to a tragic historical figure whose soul remains trapped within the notes, seeking vengeance for a betrayal that occurred generations ago. As the melody spreads, Seo-yoon teams up with Lee Do-jin, a cynical music historian who specializes in occult folklore. Together, they must navigate the cutthroat world of classical music while uncovering the dark origins of the composition. They soon realize that the melody is not just a song, but a ritualistic curse that demands a heavy price from anyone who dares to perform it, leading to a race against time to break the cycle before the final movement is played.
