The Fall Guy follows the adventures of Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a bounty hunter to make ends meet. Using his unique skills in high-speed driving, combat, and daring physical feats, Colt tracks down bail jumpers and criminals who have evaded the law. He is often assisted by his inexperienced cousin, Howie Munson, and the sharp-witted stuntwoman Jody Banks, who frequently find themselves caught in the crossfire of Colt's dangerous assignments. Throughout the series, Colt navigates the complexities of balancing his film career with his high-stakes pursuit of fugitives. The show is characterized by its lighthearted tone, iconic stunts, and the recurring theme of the 'unsung hero'—the stunt performer who does the dangerous work while the stars take the credit. Each episode typically features a mix of action-packed chases, comedic mishaps, and a race against time to bring a target to justice before the bounty expires.
