Based on Mao Ni's popular web novel of the same name, 'The Fighter of Destiny' is set in a fantastical world where human, demon, and beast tribes coexist. The story follows Chen Changsheng, an orphan who was abandoned in a flowing stream and rescued by a Daoist master. Afflicted with a fatal blood illness that dictates he will not live past the age of twenty, Changsheng refuses to surrender to his predetermined fate. Determined to find a cure, he leaves his master's temple armed only with a scroll of mysterious texts and enters the capital. Along his perilous journey, he navigates intricate political conspiracies, forms deep friendships with extraordinary allies like the genius princess Xu Yourong and the brawny prince Tang Thirty-Six, and attends the prestigious Grand Examination. Through sheer willpower and unmatched intellect, Changsheng sets out to rewrite the laws of the universe and conquer his mortality.
