The Great Indian Murder

The Great Indian Murder is a gripping crime thriller series based on Vikas Swarup's acclaimed novel, 'Six Suspects'. The story centers on the high-profile murder of Vicky Rai, the arrogant and corrupt son of a powerful politician. When Vicky is shot dead at his own party, the investigation uncovers a web of deceit, political maneuvering, and personal vendettas involving six primary suspects, each with a compelling motive to see him dead. The narrative follows two dedicated investigators, DCP Sudha Bharadwaj and CBI officer Suraj Yadav, as they navigate the murky waters of the Indian justice system. Through a non-linear storytelling approach, the series delves into the backstories of the suspects, revealing the systemic corruption and social injustices that led them to cross paths with the victim. As the layers of the mystery are peeled back, the show exposes the dark underbelly of Indian society, where power, money, and morality collide.
