The Greatest Love

Gu Ae-jung is a former member of the popular 1990s girl group National Treasure Girls, who is now struggling to stay relevant in the entertainment industry by taking on minor variety show appearances. Dokko Jin is a top actor at the height of his career, arrogant yet fiercely protective of his public image. When Ae-jung accidentally discovers a humiliating secret about Jin, their lives become inextricably linked. As they navigate fake scandals, public scrutiny, and reality television shows, a genuine and heartwarming romance blossoms between the nation's most hated woman and its most beloved man. Alongside their tumultuous romance, the drama explores the darker and often absurd realities of the Korean entertainment industry. Ae-jung struggles to support her family while dealing with the prejudices of the public, while Jin battles a hidden medical condition that threatens his career. Supported by a colorful cast including a lovestruck oriental medical doctor and rival former group members, the series balances sharp satire with laugh-out-loud comedy and emotional depth.
