Created by acclaimed writer Tobias Lindholm, "The Investigation" follows the complex and harrowing real-life murder case of Swedish journalist Kim Wall. The series meticulously chronicles the meticulous work of Jens Møller, Head of Homicide for the Copenhagen Police, and his dedicated team of investigators as they search for clues, assemble evidence, and seek justice. Eschewing the traditional focus on the perpetrator, the drama shifts its perspective entirely to the investigators, maritime experts, forensic scientists, and prosecutors who worked tirelessly to bring closure to a grieving family.
