The Kettering Incident is a haunting Australian mystery-drama set in the remote, atmospheric town of Kettering, Tasmania. The story follows Dr. Anna Macy, who returns to her hometown fifteen years after the inexplicable disappearance of her best friend, Gillian Baxter. Anna herself was found wandering in the forest on the day of the disappearance, covered in blood and with no memory of what happened, leading the town to view her with deep suspicion and hostility. As Anna attempts to rebuild her life, a new disappearance occurs, mirroring the events of the past and forcing her to confront the dark, supernatural secrets hidden within the ancient forests surrounding the town. The series masterfully blends psychological thriller elements with environmental mystery, as Anna uncovers a conspiracy involving local industry, government cover-ups, and an unsettling connection between the town's inhabitants and the forest itself.
