The Letdown follows Audrey, a first-time mother navigating the exhausting, surreal, and often hilarious realities of parenthood. Struggling with sleep deprivation, a strained relationship with her partner Jeremy, and the overwhelming pressures of a competitive mothers' group, Audrey tries to keep her head above water while figuring out her new identity. Created by Alison Bell and Sarah Scheller, the series offers a sharply observed and refreshingly honest look at the messy side of raising a baby. Alongside an eclectic mix of fellow parents and eccentric support group members, Audrey confronts judgment, isolation, and the constant feeling of failing expectations, ultimately discovering resilience and unexpected friendships along the way.
