The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, this epic drama follows an ensemble cast of characters—both familiar and new—as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil in Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains to the majestic forests of Lindon and the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, these kingdoms and characters carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone. The series chronicles the forging of the Rings of Power, the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron, the epic tale of Númenor, and the Last Alliance of Elves and Men. As peace is shattered, disparate groups of Elves, Dwarves, Harfoots, and Men must forge unlikely alliances to protect their world from a growing shadow that threatens to consume all of Middle-earth.
