The Marvel Super Heroes

The Marvel Super Heroes is an American animated television series adapted from Silver Age comic books published by Marvel Comics. The series focuses on five major characters from the Marvel Universe: Captain America, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and Sub-Mariner. Each hero headlines their own dedicated segment within the show, battling their respective arch-nemeses and defending the world from cosmic and terrestrial threats. Produced by Grantray-Lawrence Animation, the series famously utilized a technique of xeroxing original comic book artwork directly onto cels, resulting in minimal, limited animation that faithfully recreated the dynamic panels of artists like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. Accompanied by iconic, catchy theme songs for each hero, the show laid the crucial groundwork for bringing comic book superheroes to television screens.
