Set in the late 1980s during the height of Japan's economic bubble, Season 2 of The Naked Director follows Toru Muranishi as he sets his sights on an even grander and more audacious ambition: launching his own satellite television broadcasting network for adult entertainment. As Muranishi's empire expands, he faces fierce opposition from traditional media, the yakuza, and shifting political landscapes. Meanwhile, Kaoru Megumi continues her journey of self-determination, and new alliances and betrayals threaten to bring down everything Muranishi and his loyal team have built.
