Set against the bustling backdrop of Seoul's high-stakes design industry, 'The Origin of Love' follows the intertwining lives of two deeply scarred individuals who find themselves collaborating on a revolutionary public art installation. Kang Seo-joon, a brilliant but emotionally guarded architect haunted by his past, is forced to work with Han Yu-jin, an idealistic landscape designer whose warmth challenges his rigid worldview. As they design a series of interactive memorials exploring human connection, old wounds reopen, forcing both protagonists to confront the true meaning of intimacy, sacrifice, and forgiveness. Throughout the series, their professional partnership evolves into a profound emotional trial, complicated by corporate espionage, ambitious rivals, and familial expectations.
