The Park Is Mine

Based on the bestselling novel by Stephen Peters, 'The Park Is Mine' is a tense action-thriller following Mitch, a disillusioned Vietnam War veteran who takes over New York City's Central Park on the eve of the Vietnam War's anniversary. Armed with military-grade weapons and tactical gear left behind by his deceased friend and fellow vet, Johnny, Mitch declares the park a sovereign state to expose a corrupt military-industrial conspiracy and honor fallen soldiers. As the city goes into lockdown, police and federal forces surround the park, leading to a high-stakes standoff. Meanwhile, ambitious television reporter Eilene Hunt manages to sneak inside the park, becoming Mitch's sole confidante and the conduit for his message to the world. As the pressure mounts, Mitch must outsmart heavily armed mercenaries and corrupt government agents while dodging law enforcement to bring the truth to light before a final, explosive confrontation.
