Set in the year 2045, the story follows a group of brilliant orphans living at Grace Field House, an isolated orphanage overseen by their beloved caretaker, 'Mom.' The children live a life of comfort, provided with delicious food, soft beds, and daily tests that challenge their intellect. However, their idyllic existence is shattered when two of the eldest children, Emma and Norman, discover the horrifying truth: the orphanage is actually a farm designed to raise human children as high-quality food for demons. Faced with the grim reality that they are being raised for slaughter, Emma, Norman, and their strategist friend Ray must devise a daring escape plan. They must navigate a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse against their caretaker, Isabella, who is determined to keep them within the walls. The series explores themes of survival, betrayal, and the loss of innocence as the children attempt to outsmart their captors and find a way to survive in a world that views them as nothing more than livestock.
