The Replacement

The Replacement is a tense psychological thriller that follows Ellen Rooney, a high-flying architect who is forced to take maternity leave just as she is about to secure a major promotion. She hires Paula Reece, a seemingly perfect and highly competent replacement to cover her workload while she is away. However, as Ellen settles into her new life as a mother, she begins to suspect that Paula has a much more sinister agenda than simply filling in for her. As the lines between professional ambition and personal obsession blur, Ellen finds herself fighting to protect her career, her reputation, and ultimately her family. The series masterfully explores themes of motherhood, workplace rivalry, and the psychological toll of identity theft, leading to a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse where the truth is far more dangerous than it appears.
