The Trouble with Normal

The Trouble with Normal is a short-lived American sitcom that follows the lives of four eccentric men who share an apartment in New York City. The series centers on Bob Wexler, a neurotic and anxious man who works as a safety inspector, and his three roommates: Strobe, a conspiracy theorist; Max, a cynical womanizer; and Garrett, a perpetually optimistic but naive individual. Together, they navigate the complexities of modern dating, career struggles, and the absurdity of their own personalities. The show explores the comedic friction caused by their clashing worldviews and their collective inability to fit into societal norms. As they attempt to find success and companionship, their bizarre habits and conflicting temperaments often lead to chaotic situations. Despite their differences, the group remains bonded by their shared living arrangement and the mutual realization that they are all struggling to find their place in the world.
