The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf

Before Geralt, there was his mentor Vesemir—a swashbuckling young witcher who escaped a life of poverty to slay monsters for coin and glory. When a strange, powerful new threat rises in the kingdom, Vesemir finds himself embroiled in a terrifying mystery that forces him to confront the demons of his past. Set decades before the flagship series, this anime film explores the origins of Kaer Morhen and the darker political and magical forces shaping the Continent. The narrative delves deep into the rigorous and often brutal trials of the witchers, examining the complex relationship between humanity and the mutated monster-hunters they both fear and need. As political corruption entwines with magical aberrations, Vesemir must make choices that will echo down through generations, setting the stage for the turbulent world of the Witcher saga.
