Thrice Married Woman follows the life of Oh Eun-soo, a woman who has experienced two failed marriages and is navigating the complexities of her third. The series delves into the contrasting lives of two sisters, Eun-soo and Eun-soo's sister Hyun-soo, as they grapple with societal expectations, family dynamics, and the pursuit of personal happiness. Through their experiences, the drama examines the evolving definition of marriage in modern society and the emotional toll of repeated heartbreak. As Eun-soo attempts to find stability in her third marriage, she faces constant interference from her former in-laws and the lingering shadows of her past. The narrative masterfully weaves together themes of maternal sacrifice, the struggle for independence, and the search for authentic love, challenging the traditional views on divorce and remarriage in South Korea.
