Thunderbirds

Set in the mid-21st century, Thunderbirds follows the exploits of International Rescue, a secret organization dedicated to saving human lives. Founded by former astronaut Jeff Tracy, the team operates from a hidden base on Tracy Island in the South Pacific. Using a fleet of technologically advanced vehicles known as the 'Thunderbirds,' the Tracy family and their associates respond to catastrophic disasters that are beyond the capabilities of conventional emergency services. The series is famous for its pioneering use of 'Supermarionation,' a technique involving marionette puppets controlled by wires. The primary conflict often involves the team racing against time to prevent disasters, frequently caused by the sabotage of the mysterious criminal mastermind known as The Hood, who seeks to steal the secrets of the Thunderbirds' advanced technology for his own nefarious gain.
